Sussex Asbestos Solutions was formed to provide practical cost effective solutions to the ongoing Asbestos problem in the UK, thus complying with recent Health and Safety Executive legislation.
This recent legislation, detailed within the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations (CAWR) 2002, places total responsibility upon the Duty Holder of both domestic and non-domestic properties to have in place an effective Asbestos Management Plan.
The HSE have stated that they intend to vigorously enforce this legislation. Non-compliance is now a criminal offence punishable with fines of up to £20,000 and imprisonment of up to 6 months, per offence.
